A new city...
... A new chance to isolate.
I'm fighting it. I'm trying my best. But today, I really just want to lay on the couch and watch reruns of Six Feet Under.
It's not as if I have never been in a new place and not known a soul. But I hate the start of this experience. The feeling of being invisible.
Sure, this will be a distant memory in a few weeks. But right now it sucks.
I've been using the usual tools... meetings, the gym, calling friends, forcing myself into social situations.
It will pass. But right now, it's uncomfortable.
